Toni left us for the rainbow bridge, April 20, 2020.  She had more than a significant impact on our kennel and breeding program as well as others programs.  She was the dam of 12 Champions ( 8 Canadian, 3 American and one dual titled Canadian & American Champion ).  She was the dam of Collie Club of Canada National Specialty Show 2015 Winners Dog Rough, the now Champion Davenloch Solhaven A New Day,  2015 Reserve Winners Bitch Smooth, and 2016 Winners Bitch Rough, Champion Davenloch In Hot Pursuit, and two Collie Club of America National Specialty Show First In Class

Winners ( bred by and through her breeders Blair & Marie Mullin of Sunnland Collies in North Carolina ).  She was also the maternal granddam of the 2018 Collie Club of America National Specialty Show Best of Variety Rough - American Champion Maverick's Painted Lady. Many of her offspring also have various herding, obedience and performace titles, thereby making Toni qualify for the Register of Merit - Excellent ( ROM -X ) level through the Collie Club of Canada. Thank you to all the owners of her offspring who have invested so much time and effort into her kids to make such a prestigious recognition by our national breed club even possible.. You ROCK!

She started off her show career by winning the 6-9 Month old class at the 2009 Collie Club of America National Specialty in Concorde North Carolina, handled by Nancy Mcdonald of Barksdale Collies fame who was also the breeder of Toni's illustrous sire, the amazing Am Ch. Barksdale Lochlaren Liaison ROM - Anthony. She then went on to garner large entry American Specialty Best of Breed wins, along with great admiration of the Collie fancy throughout North America and beyond.  She continued her winning ways, after coming to us in Canada, going Best of Breed Smooth at the 2014 Collie Club of Canada National Specialty Show under judge Phyliss Autrey. Her daughter, was Best Baby Puppy In Specialty that same year, and is pictured above with her dam in the first picture.  This daughter, Davenloch Solhaven Koliako Aura, went on to garner Reserve Winners Bitch Smooth at the 2015 Collie Club of Canada National Specialty Show under judge Jackie Caruso.  Toni also won a 2016 Collie Club of Canada National Specialty Show Award of Merit, as well as the Beth Mead Memorial Perpetual Trophy for Best Dam and Progeny that same year, all under judge Robette Johns.

Even with having had such a successful showing career, Toni's contributions are truly best noted coming from within the whelping box. Toni will go down in history as one of the top producing Collies (Rough or Smooth) in the history of the breed in Canada. She was and is a very special lady to us. Her impact as a producer of exceptional quality will be her lasting legacy as we continue to see her magnificent contributions in the generations that come down from her. We will be forever greatful that she came into our lives!
